Arthritis is a common term associated with any pain in the joints. This is a problem that usually occurs in aged individuals and comes out of erosion of the synovial fluid in the joints however sometimes it can also arise because of excess uric acid concentrations in the blood. Such a condition is termed as gout. The attack takes place overnight and sudden deposits form in the joints, usually the toe areas. While gout remedies are quite effective in getting rid of acute attacks, they are not all that useful in preventing further attacks.
To ensure that one does not get any more gout arthritic attacks, they should stop the consumption of all food items that directly increase the uric acid serum levels in the blood. For example, alcohol exacerbates the condition by increasing the uric acid levels and not allowing the system to properly remove uric acid from the body. Although gout causes only pain, relentless attacks can also cause stone in the urinary system.
